HENGELO C.C v POLONIA CRICKET CLUB

 Polonia Cricket Club travelled to Hengelo, Holland for a pre-season outdoor cricket match, over the weekend of the 17th/18th April 2004. The fixture was a 40 over friendly game against Hengelo Cricket Club. Polonia batted first and managed to score 118 runs before losing all our wickets in the 36th over. Hengelo achieved this in 30 overs with the loss of six wickets. Hengelo, then, of course, the victors. However, we all had a great time and learnt a tremendous amount from Hengelo, who this year celebrate their 50th anniversary. Here are a few photographs taken during our visit to Hengelo.
